About WealthForge

WealthForge is a personal finance publication focused on one thing: making wealth-building understandable for people who are starting from scratch.

We cover investing for beginners, saving strategies, credit and debt management, retirement accounts, and practical money decisions — always with sourced data, clear explanations, and zero get-rich-quick nonsense.

Who runs this site

WealthForge is published by Vinay Singirikonda, who is responsible for the site’s editorial standards, its sourcing policy, and every article that appears on it.

I’m not a licensed financial advisor, and nothing here is personalized advice. What I am is someone who got tired of personal finance writing that either assumed you already had money to invest or tried to sell you something. The guides here are built from primary sources — IRS publications, Federal Reserve data, FDIC and CFPB guidance, and Bureau of Labor Statistics figures — rather than from other blogs repeating each other.

How our articles are produced

We’re direct about this because you deserve to know what you’re reading. WealthForge articles are drafted with the help of AI language models working from a defined editorial brief, then published under the standards described in our editorial policy. Calculators, worked examples and the numbers inside them are computed directly rather than generated as text.

AI assists with drafting. It does not set our sourcing rules, and it does not change the fact that a named human publisher stands behind what appears here. If something on this site is wrong, that’s on me, and I want to hear about it — the contact page reaches me directly.

What we believe

  • You don’t need a lot of money to start. Most of our guides assume you’re beginning with $100–$1,000, not $100,000.
  • Evidence over opinion. Every statistic we publish is attributed to a named source — government data, major financial institutions, or peer-reviewed research.
  • Simple beats clever. Low-cost index funds, automated savings, and boring consistency outperform complicated strategies for most people.
  • Say what we don’t know. Our calculators each carry a section on what they don’t account for. Tools that hide their assumptions are worse than no tool at all.

How we make money

WealthForge is free to read. We intend to fund the site through display advertising. We don’t accept payment for coverage, we don’t publish sponsored posts presented as editorial, and no advertiser sees an article before it’s published. If we ever add affiliate links, they’ll be disclosed on the page where they appear.

Corrections

If you find an error — a wrong figure, an outdated contribution limit, a broken calculation — tell us via the contact page. We correct factual errors as soon as we can verify them, and material corrections are noted on the article itself.
