This page explains how WealthForge produces, sources, reviews and corrects its content. It exists so you can judge for yourself how much weight to give what you read here.
Who is responsible for this site
WealthForge is published by Vinay Singirikonda. Editorial decisions, sourcing standards and corrections are the publisher’s responsibility. There is no outside party with approval rights over what appears on this site.
WealthForge is not a registered investment adviser, a broker-dealer, or a licensed financial planning practice. Nothing published here is personalized financial advice, and no reader-specific relationship is created by reading it.
How articles are produced
WealthForge articles are drafted with the assistance of AI language models operating from a fixed editorial brief that specifies structure, sourcing requirements and tone. This is disclosed rather than hidden, and it applies to the article text on this site.
Two things are deliberately not left to a language model:
- Numbers in calculators and worked examples are computed with explicit formulas — standard amortisation, compound interest and CAGR math — not produced as generated text. A model that writes a plausible-looking figure is not acceptable in content people may act on.
- Charts are rendered from underlying data values by a deterministic renderer, so what the chart shows and what the text says cannot drift apart.
Google Search’s guidance judges content on whether it’s helpful, original and reliable, not on how it was produced. We agree with that standard, and we’d rather be measured against it openly.
Sourcing standards
Statistics and factual claims are attributed to a named source in the text, with the source listed at the end of the article. We prioritise, in order:
- Primary government and regulatory sources — IRS, Federal Reserve, FDIC, CFPB, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Social Security Administration.
- Established financial institutions and research organisations publishing their own data.
- Major financial publications reporting on primary data, cited alongside the underlying source where possible.
We do not cite content mills, affiliate comparison sites, or articles whose own sourcing we can’t trace.
Accuracy and its limits
We aim for every figure on this site to be correct and current. We also want to be honest about the limits of that: personal finance data changes constantly — contribution limits, interest rates, tax thresholds — and an article accurate on its publication date can drift out of date.
Treat any specific figure as accurate as of the date shown on the article, and verify current numbers with the primary source before acting on them. Where a figure is time-sensitive, we say where it came from so you can check it directly.
Calculators
Every calculator on WealthForge is free, runs entirely in your browser, and sends nothing you enter to us or to anyone else. We don’t store, transmit or log calculator inputs.
Each calculator page states the formula it uses and includes a section describing what it does not account for — typically taxes, inflation, fees and irregular real-world events. Calculator output is an estimate based on the assumptions you provide, not a prediction.
Corrections policy
We correct factual errors promptly once verified. Our approach:
- Material errors — a wrong figure, formula or claim that could affect a reader’s decision — are corrected and noted on the article.
- Minor errors such as typos and broken links are corrected without a note.
- Outdated data is updated, and the article’s modified date reflects the change.
To report an error, use the contact page. Include the article and the specific claim, and a source if you have one.
Advertising and independence
WealthForge is free to read and intends to be supported by display advertising. Advertisers have no input into editorial content and receive no advance access to articles. We don’t publish paid placements presented as editorial. If affiliate links are introduced, they will be disclosed on the page where they appear.
